Going well beyond the simple translated word list, the App uses advanced technologies to provide assured translations across the Cherokee Syllabary, Practical phonetics, or English, along with the latest language learning tools.
Includes extensive pronunciation support, audio, illustrative sentences, grammar notes, cross-referenced search, links to sources, bios on speakers, and a private AI feature. Fully immersive in the language you select, you can choose to access the App in either the Cherokee or English language.
The App digitises the foundational Durbin Feeling Cherokee-English Dictionary on its 50th Anniversary, a fitting tribute to Durbin Feeling’s decades of commitment to the Cherokee language.
The Bible feature offers extended, immersive listening, allowing learners to hear familiar stories and follow along with the text in Cherokee syllabary or Romanized text to aid comprehension.
